Your mind is your home.

  • Couples

Couples therapy is appropriate not only as a last resort or when couples are at an impasse, but when they are seeking understanding, conflict resolution, communication improvements, or tools to cope effectively with life’s stressors. I facilitate a safe, neutral space for you and your partner to explore the relationship’s needs, wants, and dreams. Unions require commitment to interdependence and couples counseling helps to foster the care the relationship deserves.

  • Anxiety

If you experience anxiety in any form you understand how visceral and uncomfortable it is. I use many tools and approaches to best support you through managing anxiety. I’ve worked with social anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder and have learned that they have the ability to become gifts and teachers. Some of my favorite approaches are CBT, mindfulness, and self-compassion.

  • Relationships

Connection is everything to us as humans and when something is in the way of that it can feel heartbreaking. Together we can explore relationship patterns, attachment issues/styles, and communication techniques. I find it is helpful to build an understanding of our needs and emotions and how to communicate them effectively with the people we love. I also believe our most important relationship will always be to ourselves.

  • Grief

Grief shows up in our lives in many ways, shapes, and forms. It can be complex and felt differently for everyone. There is no one or right way to feel or process grief and loss. I will honor your feelings as they naturally ebb and flow. Together we can navigate, reflect, and accept the grief and loss.

  • Depression

If you take the original meaning of the word depression, you get exactly how it feels. A caving in, maybe a weight on your chest, or being in a sunken place. It often makes us feel stuck, trapped, or suffocated. Therapy and tools from it can breathe air in and offer a way out. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral activation, mindfulness, self-compassion, and building on strengths to support your journey through.

  • Self-Esteem

I notice a lot of issues can connect to one’s self-esteem. Self-esteem is typically engrained early in our lives and learned. If unchecked or explored, it can affect how we see ourselves, our world, and how we act. Together we can decipher the difference between self-confidence and self-worth and build a pathway to truly understanding, appreciating, and loving who you uniquely are.

  • Life Transitions

There is only so much control we have. This limit means we are bound to feel and experience negative or difficult outcomes in our life. You always have the control over how you approach those outcomes. I offer a safe space for these challenges for you to confront patterns that no longer serve you and identify your path towards happiness.
